Dr. Gaurav Mishra, a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association board-certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, has spent more than a decade serving mental health needs along the US-Mexico border. During one of the most difficult chapters in recent immigration history, he led mental health services for more than 3,200 unaccompanied minors separated from their families, under a federal Office of Refugee Resettlement initiative.
An MD-MBA, he now leads Rementia Health, focused on adult and child psychiatry and dementia care, while continuing to advise a SAMHSA regional migration mental-health technical assistance center and serving on San Diego County’s Behavioral Health Advisory Board — a psychiatrist whose expertise spans the clinic, the classroom, and the policy table.
