Dr. Deepa Sannidhi directs the SLIM (Supervised Lifestyle and Integrative Medicine) program at UC San Diego Health, a weight-management program she has helped study and prove out as a feasible, effective model — one now shared publicly through the Ardmore Institute of Health so other institutions can build on it.

A double diplomate in lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, she also serves as Assistant Program Director for the UC San Diego/San Diego State General Preventive Medicine Residency, training the next generation of physicians to treat prevention as seriously as treatment.
